Darker fruits than usual—cassis, blackberry, and plum with red earth minerality. Underlying nuances of black licorice, pepper, bay leaf, cedar, and leather. Plush tannins with a lengthy soft finish. A round, well textured wine with tension, depth, and site expression. Decant in youth for 30 minutes before drinking. Drink now–2035.
