Elswick Vineyard is in the “deep end” of Mendocino County’s Anderson Valley, drawing marine air off the Pacific Ocean, giving it a cooler climate. This results in subdued wines that are simultaneously elegant and stealthily structured.

Dark cherry and blackberry fruits lead the aromas. The fruit is supported by forest floor, fern, and graphite nuances. Exotic spices of cinnamon, cardamom, and vanilla further the depth of the wine. Subtle stone notes and a kiss of French oak round out the flavor profile. The texture is chalkier than the previous vintage, the tannins providing a long lived structure to the wine. 7 barrels produced. Drink Now–2032.
