The 2021 is our debut vintage! Elswick Vineyard is in the “deep end” of Mendocino County’s Anderson Valley, drawing marine air off the Pacific Ocean, giving it a cooler climate. This results in subdued wines that are simultaneously elegant and stealthily structured.

Cool aromatics of the darker fruits—black cherry and brambly blackberry—permeate the nose. The fruit is accented by touches of sassafras, white pepper, oyster mushroom, and black tea. Further nuances of sea air and wet river cobble provide a distinct minerality to this wine. Supple and round in the mouth with fine-grained texture. Bright, uplifting finish. Drink Now–2028. 10 barrels produced.
