From an undulating plateau located between the Pacific Ocean and the Russian River, the Silver Eagle vineyard is planted with Vosne-Romanée, Calera, and Swan clones. The soils here are a Goldridge and red shale mix, perfect for balancing explosive fruit flavors with minerality.

Aromas and flavors of red fruits—raspberry and strawberry—lift from the glass, with underlying notes and secondary aromas of white pepper, fern, and rosemary. The 2023 release shows a rich, glycerin-filled texture that caresses the mouth, finishing with light to medium tannins. 13 barrels produced. Best Now–2030.
