From a warmer growing season resulting in big, full wines. Decidedly darker fruit flavors of blueberry and blackberry are complemented by aromatics of violet, vanilla, and toasty oak. Notes of dusty cocoa and almond help frame the fruit. Plush long tannins are velvety in the mouth, giving backbone and grip to the finish. 16 barrels produced. Best 2026–2036.
